CARING FOR YOUR FLOWERS AT HOME:

Once you’ve removed all outer packaging, select a nice clean vase for your flowers.

Tip: Keep the twine on the bouquet, this way it will retain its shape and you can enjoy the arrangement in almost any size vase.

Fill the vase with water, ensuring all stems are submerged in water.

Tip: Use room temperature water, as anything too hot or too cold can shock the stems.

Place the vase somewhere out of direct sunlight and away from direct heat sources, such as radiators.

Tip: Flowers enjoy the cold, so choosing a room that stays slightly cooler will help your flowers last longer.

Change the water every 2-3 days and re-trim stems by 1-2cm every 5 days.

Tip: If your stems reach the bottom of your vase, cut at a 45-degree angle to help them drink the water.

After a few days, some of the more delicate stems may start to wilt; remove any dying stems from the vase as soon as possible, as bacteria in the water can shorten the life of other flowers.

Tip: Some of these stems may still last a few more days, so pop them in a jar or a bud vase on their own to enjoy for longer.
